Rapaport Price List

Last reviewed · June 2026

Rapaport Price List. A weekly wholesale price benchmark, published by Martin Rapaport, used by diamond dealers worldwide to price stones by shape, weight, color, and clarity. The 'Rap List' sets the wholesale anchor; resale offers are typically expressed as a discount to Rap.

A buyer who tells you they pay 'Rap minus 30' means they will pay 70% of the published Rapaport price for your stone's combination of weight, color, and clarity. The discount varies by stone size, cut quality, and current dealer demand.

You can not see the Rap List directly — it is a paid trade subscription — but understanding that it exists explains why every professional offer for a given stone tends to land in the same ballpark.
